A superb location with wonderful views...
With magnificent views over Swaledale, this superb cottage has been decorated and furnished to a high standard. Welcoming and cosy, this spacious cottage is ideally located for exploring Swaledale, one of the least spoilt Yorkshire Dales with its flower meadows and stone barns, as well as the surrounding area including Wensleydale and the Upper Eden Valley. Just a ten-minute walk from the cottage, the village pub, The Punch Bowl, has been re-developed and offers superb food, excellent ale and great hospitality. The nearby market town of Reeth offers tea shops, pubs, a Post Office and gift shops, whilst Richmond and Hawes offer a wider variety for all of your holiday needs.

- The cottage is approached via a farm track (250 yards from the road).
- The cottage is completely non smoking.
- 1 medium-sized, well-behaved dog welcome.
- Children are welcome.
- Travel cot and high chair available.
Accommodation and facilities
The cottage has central heating throughout. All power and initial supply of fuel for the wood-burning stove in the sitting room are included in the rental.
Ground Floor
The cosy living room is a wonderful place to relax when you return from a day out walking or touring the Yorkshire Dales, with wood-burning stove, colour TV and DVD player. The living room connects through a small passage to the dining room which is next door to the kitchen.
Kitchen
The well-equipped and very spacious kitchen complete with Aga, electric cooker, microwave, fridge, freezer, kettle, toaster, coffee maker, dishwasher, washing machine, tumble dryer, iron & ironing board.
Dining Room
The dining room is situated ajoining the kitchen and includes dining table with seating for 6.
First Floor
The first double bedroom has a king-sized bed and wardrobe space. The second double bedroom is down the corridor with with more wardrobe space and a sofa bed to accomodate a fifth person, or simply to sit on! All of the bedrooms have beautiful, original beams and views overlooking the Swaledale valley.
Bathroom
The large bathroom comprises of a standalone bath with a shower head, wash-hand basin, toilet, bidet, shaver point and towel rail. There is also a separate toilet on the first floor as well as another separate room with a stand-up shower. Please note the the ceiling in the separate toilet and shower is low.

Short Breaks (SB)
Short Breaks are sometimes offered for 3 nights. These are usually Saturday, Sunday and Monday but days are flexible, so please do contact us to see if your request can be accommodated! You'll be glad to know that we do not charge a booking fee! Short Break rates are as shown in the following table:
