Hobson's Cottage
Self Catering Holiday Cottage, Fremington, Nr. Reeth, North Yorkshire. Sleeps 4
Spectacular views over fields to Reeth.
Swaledale is the most northerly of the dales with unspoilt scenery in the National Park. The River Swale flows through traditional hay meadows dotted with stone field barns. At the western end of Swaledale you can visit Tan Hill which boasts the highest pub in England.
Fremington is a hamlet situated in a delightful area with amazing views over countryside including the bustling village of Reeth, which dates back from Saxon Times. On offer is art, craft, shops, pubs and cafes clustered around a large village green. Hobson’s Cottage is a short walk from Reeth, a corner shop and a good pub in the village of Grinton.

Accommodation and facilities
This cosy cottage offers a stone porch, first floor open plan living room with fitted kitchen and dining area boasting views towards Reeth. There is a short flight of steep steps from the living room which lead to the two ground floor bedrooms and bathroom facilities.
Hobson’s Cottage is situated on the left of a quiet lane. There is an outside gravelled area plus a spacious raised paved terrace with garden furniture, including a chiminea, to enjoy the spectacular Swaledale scenery whatever the weather. Parking is 50 yards from the property.
First Floor Through Stone Porch
Living room with settee/bed and 2 arm chairs, dining table with 2 bench type seats. Small stove style electric fire plus electric night storage heaters throughout. (Power included in the rent.) Colour TV, Video, DVD Player and Radio/CD/Cassette Player. White Fitted Kitchen with electric cooker, microwave, fridge, washer/dryer.
Ground Floor Down Short Flight of Steep Steps
Master bedroom with king sized bed, 2 bedside tables, dressing table, chair and wardrobe. Second bedroom with full Sized bunks, chest of drawers and limited hanging space (A narrow room). Bathroom comprising W.C., basin, bath with both shower over and hand held shower. Bed linen is provided, however towels are not provided.

Short Breaks (SB)
Short Breaks are sometimes offered for 3 nights. These are usually Saturday, Sunday and Monday but days are flexible, so please do contact us to see if your request can be accommodated! You'll be glad to know that we do not charge a booking fee! Short Break rates are as shown in the following table:
