The Barn has recently been converted to a high standard and provides modern, light, airy and spacious open plan accomodation. Everything is provided to make your stay memorable, enjoyable and relaxing - offering an excellent base to explore the North Yorkshire Moors and is an ideal gateway to the magnificent unspoilt Yorkshire Dales. The Barn is the ideal property to escape to the countryside and provides a great getaway from the stress of everyday life!
South Thornborough Farm is situated in pituresque countryside in the beautiful county of North Yorkshire and offers wonderful landscape views with the added benefit of being one mile from the historic town of Northallerton, where there are many individual shops and a variety of resturants and pubs to enjoy. The name Thornborough is pre Roman derived from 'Thorn' and 'Berg' being hill defended by thorn trees. South Thornborough Farm has been in the same family ownership for three generations and is a working farm set in 48 acres.
Northallerton is the largest market town in the district, located in the Vale of Mowbray between the North York Moors abd the Yorkshire Dales National Park. Northallerton is renowned for its twice weekly traditional market, as well a wide choice of independent and national retailers. It is also only a short trip to other local towns and villages with heor local attractions such as Pickering, Scarborough, Helmsley and Whitby.

Ground Floor
The double height entrance hall leads onto the living room, kitchen and to the downstairs WC and shower room.
Kitchen
The fully equiped kitchen comprises electric cooker, microwave with grill, fridge with freezer compartment and dishwasher. There is also a washing and drying laundry room.
Living Room
The large open plan living room with dining area, has an LPG gas stove with inglenook, Freeview colour TV and DVD player. With wonderful views of open countryside.
First Floor
The first floor consists of 2 bedrooms and a gallery reached via the solid oak spindle staircase.
Bedrooms
Bedroom 1 is a large double with luxury ensuite bathroom. Bedroom 2 is a twin. Ben linen and towels are provided.
Bathroom
The ensuite bathroom offers ample space, with bath, separate large shower cubicle, WC, sink and a heated towel rail. Further downstairs shower room with WC, basin and heated towel rail.
