Carters is a welcoming cosy stone barn conversion which has been sympathetically restored to enhance the Yorkshire Dales style of property yet the contemporary refurbishment of our modern lifestyles. The cottage is ideally located for exploring Swaledale, one of the least spoilt Yorkshire Dales with its flower meadows and stone barns, as well as the surrounding area including Arkengarthdale, Wensleydale and the Upper Eden Valley. Just a short walk from the cottage, the village pub, The Punch Bowl, has been re-developed and offers superb food, excellent ale and great hospitality. The nearby market town of Reeth offers tea shops, pubs, a Post Office and gift shops, whilst Richmond and Hawes offer a wider variety for all of your holiday needs.

Accommodation and facilities
Carters benefits from oil central heating throughout, with additional heating provided by electric fire in sitting room. The property also has a ground floor basin and WC.
Living Room
The living room is spacious, but has a cosy feel and is a wonderful place to relax when you return from a day out walking or touring the Yorkshire Dales, with electric fire, colour TV, DVD player and radio/CD player.
Kitchen
The cottage has a kitchen with dining area, facilities include an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge, freezer, washer/dryer, dishwasher, iron & ironing board.
First Floor
The first bedroom has a king-sized bed and wardrobe space, and the second bedroom has twin beds.
Shower Room
Carters has a family shower room with shower, basin and WC.

Short Breaks (SB)
Short Breaks are sometimes offered for 3 nights. These are usually Friday, Saturday and Sunday but days are flexible, so please do contact us to see if your request can be accommodated! You'll be glad to know that we do not charge a booking fee! Short Break rates are as shown in the following table:
