Ideal village location
Old Bank Cottage is ideally located in the delightful village of Reeth, Swaledale, approx. 10 miles from Richmond. For much of the twentieth century, the cottage was a bank, and about thirty years ago, the bank was converted into a cosy, comfortable cottage.
It is easy to enjoy a number of outdoor activities in Swaledale, from walking to mountain biking (e.g. Dales Cycle Centre in nearby Fremington). Swaledale is the most northerly dale in the Yorkshire Dales National Park. Reeth has a number of pubs and restuarants for that special meal, shops, post office, bakery, ice cream parlour, tea rooms, photo gallery and a weekly farmers market.
The ancient market town of Richmond is within easy reach, steeped in history and boasts an 11th Century Norman Castle, Georgian Theatre, swimming pool, cinema, shops, pubs and restaurants. Leyburn is also near by with a further variety of shops, and other local attractions.
Reeth and the surrounding area offers a warm welcome to visitors and families with children as there are a large variety of activities and attractions on offer throughout the year.

Ground Floor
The vestibule leads onto the living room, with access to the kitchen.
Kitchen
Well equiped kitchen with original Yorkshire flagstone floor. Equipment includes electric hob and oven, microwave, fridge, freezer, automatic washer/dryer and iron/ironing board. There is a dining table and chairs and backdoor with bench situated outside.
Living Room
The welcoming living room offers an open fire with initial basket of logs provided, colour TV, DVD, video player, and a selection of books and games.
First Floor
The first floor consists of 3 bedrooms.
Bedrooms
Bedroom 1 is a delightful double with a four-poster bed and hairdryer. Bedroom 2 is a double with wash hand basin, and Bedroom 3 has two single beds.
Bathroom
The clean and modern bathroom has a shower over bath, WC, wash hand basin and heated towel rail.
