Self catering holiday cottage for up to 6 people on the oustkirts of Langthwaite situated in the Yorkshire Dales National Park.
Commanding position with magnificent views
Low Lock Stock Cottage is a delightful stone built semi-detached property situated adjacent to the owners house on the sheltered south facing moorside of Arkengarthdale above Langthwaite. The cottage offers self catering accomodation for up to six people, has been modernised to a high standard and is well furnished and equipped, offering something special for the discerning visitor.
The cottage has a commanding position with magnificent views of Arkengarthdale, and is ideally situated for walking and touring the Yorkshire Dales, or simply to enjoy a relaxing holiday. Central to the National Park's recommend walks, adjacent to the Coast to Coast route, Dales Cycle Way and the Pennine Way, as well as being within easy driving distance of the Lake District and other places of interest.

Ground Floor
The cottage is accessed via the entrance porch. The ground floor consists of a dining kitchen, living room and cloackroom with w.c., handbasin and shaving point.
Kitchen
The dining kitchen is fully equipped with electric cooker, microwave, fidge/freezer, washing machine and iron/ironing board. The dining area seats six, and for your extra comfort there is a multi-fuel stove. A high chair is available on request.
Living Room
The living room is comfortably furnished for six, with views south across the dale, along with a feature stone open fireplace, and a colour television, DVD and video. The glass panelled door opens onto a paved patio and lawned area which is a magnificant spot to look across the unspoilt views.
First Floor
The first floor consists of 3 bedrooms and a bathroom. All bedrooms have magnificent views.
Bedrooms
The main bedroom has a double bed and fitted wardrobe. The family bedroom has twin beds plus an extra single bed and fitted wardrobe. The third bedroom has a small double bed.
Please note that bedding is provided (pillows, blankets and duvets), and visitors must provide their own bed lined, sheets, pillow cases and towels. If it is more convenient, these can be hired from the cottage owner for only £3.50 per person. A cot is also available on request.
Bathroom
The shared family bathroom has a bath with shower over, w.c. and handbasin.
Easy access to the Moors and Dales
- Walled patio facing south, with picnic table, benches and garden furniture.
- 1 well behaved pet allowed by prior arrangement.
- No smoking please.
- Ample secure private parking for 3 cars.
