Self catering holiday cottage for 8 people plus children under 3, Arkengarthdale, Yorkshire Dales.

The Rigg is situated on a hill and overlooks stunning dales and moorland, and provides an excellent location for a family holiday.

Accommodation and facilities

The cottage has an open fire and an oil-fired Aga cooker.

Oil-fired Aga cooker in kitchen providing hot water - included in the rent.
Open fire in lounge - fuel provided and included.
Oil-fired central heating throughout - on £1 meter.
Electric cooker, electric fires - electricity on £1 meter.
Cots and high chair available, colour T.V., shaver points, radio, payphone.
The cottage is non-smoking.

Ground Floor

Porch, lounge with open fire, dining room, kitchen (with Oil-fired Aga cooker, microwave, automatic washing machine, tumble dryer, fridge/freezer) and toilet with basin.

First Floor

The first floor contains 3 bedrooms comprising of 2 double bedrooms (1 with basin), 1 double bedroom and 1 room with 2 pairs of full size bunk beds.

Bathroom

The bathroom has a shower over bath, toilet and basin.

External

Local shops are three and a half miles away, and a nice pub with good food is only 200 yards walk.

Private parking for 3 cars.
Shared garden.
Private spring water supply.
Dogs by arrangement.

Please note that blankets and pillows are provided, but visitors should bring their own bed linen, towels, table cloths and tea towels. These can be supplied by a local hire company if more convenient - details can be supplied.

Please note: the rates shown below are the all-inclusive price for the rental of the cottage per week (Saturday to Saturday) except Short Breaks. These prices can change without warning. You'll be glad to know that we do not charge a booking fee!

Short Breaks (SB)

Short Breaks are sometimes offered for 3 nights. These are usually Saturday, Sunday and Monday but days are flexible, so please do contact us to see if your request can be accommodated! You'll be glad to know that we do not charge a booking fee! Short Break rates are as shown in the following table:
