Aysgarth Falls, Aysgarth, Yorkshire Dales

Having parked in the George and Dragon pub car park, Aysgarth, we spent a lovely couple of hours walking from Aysgarth to West Burton and back.  This was an easy (and quiet) loop walk passing Aysgarth Falls and treking through fields and woodland to West Burton, where we refreshed ourselves at the Fox and Hounds pub.  It was then a nice stroll back to Aysgarth, and a final short climb up a couple of steep fields to the car.

Aysgarth and West Burton are easily reached by a short drive from Swaledale and Arkengarthdale, and the villages of Reeth, Gunnerside, Low Row, Muker.  Click here for a selection of self catering holiday cottages.
