There are three easy ways to book your holiday home through Holiday Home Yorkshire:


Once you have chosen your holiday home it is quick and easy to book online. Simple follow these four steps:

  • Check the availability; simply click the availability tab that is found at the top of each individual holiday home description
  • Hover over the dates that you require and a drop down will appear detail the availability and the cost
  • Click on the date in the drop down that you require and you shall be taken through to a secure booking form
  • Simply complete and submit this form and you shall receive your confirmation via email.

Once the reservation is made we shall send you your booking details either by email or if required by post.

If we are unable to take your call, please do leave us a message and we shall get back to you as soon as possible.


If you wish to reserve your holiday home via email this is no problem. Please email us at and we shall respond with your provisional booking with details on how to confirm your booking.

By Card

We accept payment via our website by credit/debit card, Visa, MasterCard, Delta, Maestro or Solo.

By Cheque or Postal Order

If you wish to make payment by cheque or postal order please make the cheque/postal order payable to Holiday Home Yorkshire. Please also write your name, address and booking reference on the reverse to enable us to match your payment to your booking.

By Bank Transfer

We also accept a bank transfer to our client account. If you choose to make payment via this method we shall email you the details you require to do so.

When are payments due

If you are booking more than 8 weeks prior to your arrival date we shall require a deposit to confirm your booking. The remaining balance will then be due 8 weeks prior to your arrival date.
If you are booking within 8 weeks of your arrival date we shall require the full payment of the balance to confirm the booking. If you are booking within 3 weeks of your arrival date we shall be require payment either by bank transfer of card payment via the website.

The majority of our holiday homes do include bed linen, towels, kitchen linen, electricity, gas and/or oil. However, please do check each individual holiday home description to find out exactly what is included in your chosen holiday home as they all differ slightly. You shall find this information towards the middle of the holiday home description under the heading ‘What’s included’.

As dog lovers ourselves we are pleased to be able to offer a number of holiday homes that accept dogs. The majority of our holiday homes accept one dog, however, there are some that are a little more flexible and will happily accept two dogs. 

All we ask is that you follow these simple rules: 
  1. Please do not let your pet(s) upstairs into the bedrooms
  2. Please keep your pet(s) off the furniture
  3. Please do not leave your pet(s) unattended in the holiday home
  4. Please remove your pet(s) hairs from carpets and furniture before your leave
  5. Please exercise your pet(s) outside the garden.

Booking online

If you booked your holiday home online you shall receive your provisional booking within minutes of requesting the reservation. Please note, that this is not your booking confirmation. Your provisional booking will remain provisional until your booking confirmation is received.
You shall receive your booking confirmation within 24 hours subject to availability, or a cancellation confirmation of your provisional request if required. Please do not make any arrangements (e.g. car hire or holiday insurance) until you receive your booking confirmation. On confirmation of your booking, your chosen payment option (e.g. deposit or full balance if less than 8 weeks) will be debited form your card.

Booking by telephone or email

If you booked your holiday home by phone or email you shall receive your booking confirmation 24 hours after we receive either your deposit payment or full payment via email. If we are required to post the booking confirmation please allow 7 – 10 working days.
If you have not received your booking confirmation please look in your junk folder before contacting us and add to your address book.

Once we receive the final payment for the rental of your holiday home we shall send you directions via email or by post if requested. Please allow 24 hours after receipt of the payment to receive your directions document or 7 – 10 days if by post.
Please read and print your directions document as it shall detail who your contact is when arriving at your holiday home and the keysafe code. 


You can arrive at your accommodation from 4pm on the day of arrival. If you require an early check in please contact us in advance and we shall try to accommodate (please note it is not always possible to accommodate early check ins).


We ask that you vacate your holiday home by 10 am on the day of departure. This allows time for the house keeper to change over the holiday home ready for the next guests to arrive.
