The Coast to Coast walk passes very close by the village but for those that are not so keen on such a challenge, there are many less strenuous walks in the area. For example, there is a beautiful walk that takes you nearly all the way to Grinton on the banks of the River Swale at the foot of the valley. Whilst you stroll along the river bank you can take in the stunning views of the rolling hills either side of you, which is stunning on a summers day!
The Punch Bowl is the only pub in the village of Low Row, and offers a great refreshment point for many cyclists and walkers. The Punch Bowl is renowned for its extensive menu and serves top quality food daily. The one thing that attracts both locals and tourist back to this pub is the guaranteed warm welcome you shall receive from the manger and staff time and time again.
Hazel Brown Farm is a genuine working Yorkshire farm based in Low Row. The visitor Centre offers a chance for you to experience the traditional Dales farming life. Friendly staff are on hand to introduce you to the animals that live on the farm and if you’re lucky enough to visit in April you may even see a lamb being born.
