Dales Bike Centre is located in Fremington and is one of the best bike Centre’s in the Yorkshire Dales. At Dales Bike Centre you can rent top of the range bikes which are suitable for both ammeters and experienced mountain bikers. They will give you instructions and maps on the best routes in the area for your capabilities, or if you would prefer you can book on a group ride to explore the dales.
If you are a keen mountain biker or want to give it a go, then look no further than the 22.5 mile track up Fremington Edge. This is not for the faint hearted as it is a mixture of tight single tracks to wide gravel tracks. The route starts at Grinton Lodge and finishing at the junction of High Fremington. Fremington is very close to both Grinton and Reeth so there is a choice of shops, restaurants, pubs and cafes to choose from. If you don’t fancy the walk then the Dales Bike Centre does offer a particularly good cup of tea and fantastic cupcakes!
