What Are the DR20, DR30 and DR40 Trail Races?

Organised by DalesRunner, the DR series offers three trail distances through the dramatic and remote landscapes of Swaledale and Arkengarthdale:

DR20 – a 18.8km route ideal for intermediate trail runners looking to test their legs on hills and enjoy open moorland, scenic valleys, and historic tracks.
DR30 – a tougher 31.7km challenge that brings in more elevation and longer stretches of technical trail. Perfect for seasoned runners or those training for ultra-distance events.
