Despite being a small, rural village in the Yorkshire Dales, there are plenty of places to eat in Reeth!

Reeth has lots to offer when it comes to dining out for your evening meals; from high end meals made from the very best of local ingredients to proper pub grub to boost your energy after an action-packed day in the fells.

The Burgoyne Hotel is situated in a prominent position with stunning views of the village green and beyond to Harkerside. The Burgoyne Hotel is a great choice for special occasions, offering a restaurant dining experience and the 1783 Bar – the perfect place for a night cap. Outside is a beautiful garden to soak up the sun, enjoy the view and of course your favourite tipple. The Burgoyne is particularly popular for its Sunday roasts and afternoon teas but also has fantastic choices on the menu with a very good wine list. Whatever you opt for, you’ll get only the best Yorkshire has to offer. Quality food is sourced sustainably from local suppliers as well as from their own kitchen garden. Because food is locally sourced the menus change with the seasons and are updated regularly.

The Buck is situated at the top of the village overlooking the village green with a beer patio to the front and a huge beer garden to the rear. The Buck serves comforting hearty food all of which can be washed down with some of the best local ales. You can be sure of a warm, friendly welcome at The Buck!

The Black Bull

The Black Bull

The Black Bull is Reeth’s oldest surviving inn with stunning views of the village green and beyond to Fremington Edge. They have tables to the front of the pub and further tables to the rear in their beer garden. There is a wide variety of food on the menu all freshly prepared with local ingredients by their in-house chefs and a Sunday Carvery. There is a selection of real ales and quality wines. Keep an eye out on their website for live music and special events.

The Kings Arms

The Kings Arms

The Kings Arms is a traditional village inn which dates back to 1734 and is known locally as the ‘Middle House’ due to its central position overlooking the village green. Popular all year, known for its roaring log inglenook fire and hearty food menu. Families and well-behaved dogs always receive a warm welcome.
