The history of Reeth dates way back to the 18th Century, where it used to be the capital of the lead mining industry and a local centre for hand knitting, with a population of 1,460. Perfect in every way!!! We were made to feel very at home in this gorgeous property- it was immaculate- super cosy (log burner was just a great it being -6 outside!!) The area is jaw droppingly stunning!! The views from the property are just beautiful. The CB inn is a perfect walk and serves really good food. Reeth is so pretty with a lovely tea room (Cooper Kettle) and with The Black Bull offering a cosy fireside seat. There are walks straight from the door of the property. If you’re looking for a relaxing/romantic break or a walking holiday this place is the one! We didn’t want to leave! Thanks Hannah! We shall hopefully be back as soon as we can! ????

Such a fabulous location. The views from the Cottage are breath taking and as it is away from the road it feels so private. The walkable short distance to a decent pub, with a children’s play area, was fantastic. The food was great. Lovely location for many walks and the Cottage was cosy and suited our needs, for a family of 4 with 2 young children, perfectly. All communication with Hannah and the team was efficient and friendly. A great stay.
