The owner of Cornfield Lodge is keen to furnish the property to meet the Quality in Tourism 4 star Gold Award self-catering standard. This prestigious award has already been achieved at the owner’s neighbouring property to Cornfield Lodge known as The Barn.

Cornfield Lodge is situated close to the market town of Northallerton on the grounds of the beautiful South Thornborough Farm and is the perfect choice for anyone wishing to explore both the North York Moors and the Yorkshire Dales.

This luxurious lodge will provide high quality accommodation for up to four people in two bedrooms. Bedroom one has a King size bed and also offers a spacious and hi spec en-suite shower room. The second room is a twin bedroom which is situated across the hall from the family shower room which again offers spacious and hi spec shower facilities.

The living space is open plan offering lounge and dining areas with bespoke contemporary kitchen equipped to the owner’s personal style of luxury. This main space is bright and has views over the cornfields of South Thornborough Farm and beyond.

From the living area there are patio doors that lead to the decking area which will encompass the front and the length of the lodge to the right. This area will be perfect for you to enjoy the wonderful views and to dine alfresco in the summer months. The market town, Northallerton is only a short drive away (less than ten minutes); and there you have a choice of pubs, restaurants and cafes if you want a break from the kitchen.

Cornfield Lodge is a luxurious and ideal choice for a variety of guests.  The setting is perfect for the adventurous types who want to climb, walk or cycle the North York Moors or the Yorkshire Dales National Park. For those whom prefer a leisurely drive through the surrounding towns and villages, then Cornfield Lodge is not too far from Pickering, Scarborough, Helmsley or that seaside town of Whitby for that scrumptious plate of fish and chips from the famous Magpie Restaurant. The City of York offers the unique Shambles, York Cathedral and a host of tourist attractions. If visiting the Yorkshire Dales then the market towns of Richmond, Leyburn or Hawes are well placed and offer attractions of castles, museums and local markets.

For the benefit of larger groups, the Lodge is also able to reserve with The Barn thus enabling eight people to enjoy and explore these outstanding areas of natural beauty from Saturday to Saturday.

To ensure your stay is as comfortable as possible all bed linen and towels are provided. Gas and electric Is also included in the rental price.
