Although compact inside, Neddy Meadow has been cleverly designed to make the most of its space — with an open-plan living area, fully equipped kitchen, and a cosy wood-burning stove for evenings in. Step outside and the cottage really comes into its own: unlike many Yorkshire Dales holiday cottages, Neddy Meadow is completely private and not overlooked, with its own patio area, parking for two cars, and an incredible two acres of land to enjoy — a true rarity in the dale. It’s the perfect setting for barbecues, stargazing, or simply letting dogs and children roam safely.

And when the weather’s warm, there are even wild swimming spots nearby, where you can dip into the River Swale (the fastest flowing river in England) when conditions are safe.
