The history of Reeth dates way back to the 18th Century, where it used to be the capital of the lead mining industry and a local centre for hand knitting, with a population of 1,460. However, the area has evolved into the centre of the beautiful farming community that we see today. Wow!!! Chapel Farm house was way better than we expected. The owner, Chris, is a wonderful host and has an exceptional eye for detail. We appreciated the extra touches such as milk, biscuits, tea, coffee & coffee machine etc as well as two well-stoked fires. The location in the Dales is excellent to enjoy everything the area has to offer. We really loved to see and It was hear the sound of the babbling brook at the front of the house. We so hope to come back some time.
